Yoga Nidra also known as “yogic sleep”, is a simplified form of an ancient tantric relaxation technique. The practice combines guided mental imagery and breath in a relaxed restorative position. Unlike seated meditations which emphasize concentration or contemplation, Yoga Nidra’s goal is complete relaxation and receptivity. This practice is suitable for all individuals, from beginners to advanced. In this class we will begin with restorative poses before moving into the gentle guided visualization, and deep relaxation of Yoga Nidra.
January 17th; Cleanse and Clarity. Renewing and hydrating the soul with positive aspirations.
February 21st; Love and Light. Finding the light within yourself, what makes you glow, and how to strike your inner spark
March 21st; Mindful and Meditative. Kindness is the passport that opens doors and fashions friends.
The cost to attend each event is just $30.00 and includes refreshments afterwards and handouts on how to practice Yoga Nidra at home.
